At the close of Abraham's life, Genesis records the fulfillment of many promises God made. Abraham is given a long full life, his many children become "many nations," Isaac receives God's blessing, and Ishmael bears 12 princes. All these things were promised to Abraham by God. God keeps every promise, even those we think are small.
